Being able to do this single task is literally forcing me to run a Windows VM. However, I'm not sure how to do that since the certificates are hardware based and I can't just copy and paste them somewhere. ^ This makes me think that there is something I have to do with the program's certificate manager in order to make it validate the certificates present on my smart card. O The manual entry here does state the following: "Linux distributives supported by Master PDF Editor lack unified centralized certificate storage (unlike Windows and macOS, so Master PDF Editor uses own certificate manager for Linux. O I have no issues authenticating with my smart card on websites and the certificates do show up for me to use in the program, however it appears to have issues validating the certs. O I am running Fedora 36 on the normal linux kernel There is no log present and no additional context to this error message. ![]() Issue: I use a DOD smart card and simply want to digitally sign documents using my smart cardĬonflict: When I attempt to sign it, I receive an error message stating "error in validating signature". ![]() The referenced manual for this product is here: and I have emailed the support team for this product 5 times and got absolutely nothing back and I'm not expecting to hear from them, so I'm hoping some smart people here can help. I purchased a license for Master PDF Editor because it's basically the only game in town for digitally signing a PDF and editing PDF's with fillable contents already on it.
